According to a news article in Home Furnishing Business, Diamond Mattress has achieved GREENGUARD Gold certification for all mattresses manufactured at its California and Texas facilities. This certification assures retailers and consumers that Diamond’s products meet stringent health-based requirements for reducing indoor air pollution caused by over 300 volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Diamond’s certified lines include the Auto Pilot smart bed, Technogel, and Gel Grid mattresses, all designed to contribute to cleaner air and healthier living spaces. Additionally, the company has embraced sustainability by incorporating Repreve® FR, a recycled flame-retardant polyester. Over the past year, this initiative has repurposed more than 550,000 plastic bottles, reducing ocean and landfill waste.
“This milestone underscores our commitment to health-conscious and sustainable practices,” said CEO Shaun Pennington. Diamond continues to champion eco-friendly innovations, including recycling foam and fabric waste and using recycled steel in production.
The GREENGUARD Gold mark will now feature on all Diamond Mattress products, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to creating sustainable and health-focused solutions.
